North Yorkshire Moors #4...

This is the downstream view from the previous image of the waterfall, as the stream wends its way down through the forest. The moss on the stones and the lying tree trunks was vivid green and stood out against the dark brown and oranges of the fallen leaves.

With no-one else around, and no traffic, and the rest of the landscape shrouded in fog, this really was a peaceful place. And well worth the effort in climbing down to experience it.
